Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how DealAtlas ("DealAtlas," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you access or use the DealAtlas platform and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

When you register for an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact us, we may collect:

Name, email address, phone number, and job title

Company name, business address, and website

Payment and billing information (processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)

Communications you send us, including support requests and feedback

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps

Usage data: search queries, filters applied, properties viewed, and features accessed

Device data: device type, unique device identifiers, and browser settings

Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

1.3 Third-Party Data

DealAtlas aggregates data from public records, government sources, CMBS servicer data, county assessor records, and licensed third-party data providers. This data may include property ownership information, loan records, contact information for commercial property owners and decision-makers, and related business intelligence. We do not collect or store consumer credit information.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Services

Process payments and manage your subscription

Respond to your support requests and communications

Send product updates, platform alerts, and account notices

Send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)

Monitor platform security, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service

Analyze usage patterns to improve platform performance and develop new features

Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal account information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

3.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Services, including payment processors (Stripe), cloud hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support tools. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us.

3.2 Third-Party Data in the Platform

Contact information and property owner data displayed within the DealAtlas platform originates from public records and licensed third-party sources. This data is made available to subscribers for commercial real estate prospecting purposes in accordance with our Terms of Service and Responsible Use Policy.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of our users or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

If DealAtlas is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.

4. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, compliance, and business purposes. Usage logs and analytics data are retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at privacy@dealatlas.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

5. COOKIES

DealAtlas uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to authenticate your session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser; however, disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.

6. DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, opt out of marketing communications, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a platform notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
